Today I’m sharing a card made with the Spellbinders August 2019 Glimmer Hot Foil kit.
This month, you get the fabulous All Occasion Pennants. A set of 5 glimmer plates and two dies, this is a great set for celebrations. The kit also includes a roll of foil.
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil kit is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
For my card, I chose some silver foil and the Bday pennant, to foil onto Fun Stampers Journey Chambray Shirt card – a beautiful cornflower blue shade.
I used the coordinating die from the kit to cut out the pennant, then also cut a flag stick using the included die and some FSJ River Stone card.
Next, I layered some thin strips of the Chambray Shirt card onto my card base. I then used an amazing embossing folder from Fun Stampers Journey, called Bright Days, to add some texture to a piece of white card. I added this onto my card base too.
Using foam tape, I adhered the pennant to the card. To finish the scene, I added some adorable mice from Hello Bluebird’s Field Mice stamp set.
