Pretty Pink Posh Boo

Today I have a Halloween card to share using the fun new release from Pretty Pink Posh.

I wanted to create a ghost background for the fabulous Boo die to go over the top. Using the new Brush Strokes, I layered it over a piece of white card. I used an image from the new Boo stamp set to add the faces to some of the ghost images, stamping in the openings of the stencil.

To trap the inked faces and white ghost shapes, I used embossing ink with the stencil, then heat embossed with WOW Clear Gloss embossing powder.

I removed the stencil, then covered the panel with Carved Pumpkin distress oxide ink. The embossing resists the ink so stays white, creating the ghosts over the panel.

I trimmed the panel down to the width of my landscape card base but a little shorter, then adhered it to my card base.

Next, I added some distress oxide inks to another piece of card. I used picked raspberry, wilted violet and blueprint sketch. I flicked the panel with water to add droplets, then dried it with my heat tool.

From this piece of card, I die cut the Boo letters. To finish my card, I adhered these over the ghost background with foam tape. I positioned them so some of the ghost faces peeked through the openings in the letters.
