Today I’m sharing a card I made with the Spellbinders December 2019 Glimmer Hot Foil kit.

This month, you get the Perfect Fit Hexagon Strips – a set of 4 glimmer plates and 4 matching dies, along with a roll of Aura foil. I love geometric patterns and this set is perfect for adding stripes of pretty foiled patterns on your projects.
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil kit is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
There are also two new Value club options available now available:
- Glimmer ‘n Cut – small die, large die and glimmer kits of the month
- Glimmer Groupie – small die, large die, card and glimmer kits of the month

For my card, I focused on just on of the hexagon foil plates from the kit.
I used the beautiful Aura foil included in the kit to add a hexagon pattern to a rainbow of cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey.

I used the following colours:
- Rich coral
- Citrus cooler
- Pineapple smoothie
- Lemongrass
- Beach breeze
- Huckleberry fusion
- Lavender fusion
- Sweet berry.
I adhered these to my card base at a diagonal, trimming away any overhanging edges.

I took a piece of white card, the same size as my card base, and cut away a diagonal portion. I adhered a thin strip of black card, then stamped a sentiment from the Hello Bluebird Typed Everyday stamp set along the diagonal.
I adhered some foam sheet behind the panel, for even dimension, then adhered that to my card base to finish.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed seeing the cards I made with this fabulous kit from Spellbinders.
