Hello Bluebird April Release – Preview Day 1

It’s been a long wait but Hello Bluebird have a new release arriving on April 9th! The design team are excited to share cards using the new sets this week so there’s lots of inspiration to be found in the run up to release!

Today I’m sharing a card using the new Meadow Bunnies stamp set.

I created the background by masking the top portion of my card base, then blending on distress oxide inks in lucky clover and mowed lawn. I faded the ink to white.

Over the top, I stamped the previously released In the Meadow background stamp in mowed lawn distress oxide ink. I then flicked the panel with water for droplet details, before carefully removing the masking tape.

I coloured one of the images from the Meadow Bunnies set using copic markers. As there isn’t currently a coordinating die set available, I used my scanncut to die cut the image out.

I stamped a butterfly and sentiment from the set directly on the card, colouring the butterfly with copic markers too. Then I adhered the bunny with foam tape to finish.
