Rainbow Farmyard

Today I have a rainbow farmyard card to share featuring new and older release Hello bluebird stamps.

I made this background a few months ago, using nuvo shimmer powders as watercolours to add a wash of rainbow colour.

The new background stamps from Hello Bluebird look so lovely as outlines stamped on coloured backgrounds. I stamped the Farmland background with versafine onyx black ink on the rainbow background, then heat embossed it with WOW Clear Gloss embossing powder.

I trimmed the panel and adhered it to a white card base. For the frame, I die cut the HB Gallery Frame 2 die from white card, layering 3 of the outer frames together for dimension.

It’s fun to combine new and older sets together. I decided to add some critters from the HB Just Sayin’ stamp set. As they are holding signs, it meant I had a perfect place for my sentiment to go.

I coloured the images with copic markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies. The bunny and pig, along with the star hat and sentiments are from Just Sayin’. The balloons and the stripy hat are from the Pig Day stamp set.
