Fall Friends and Autumn Leaves

I’ve combined some older Hello Bluebird Autumn sets with the new Gallery Frame #5 slimline die on my card today.

I began with the embossed background. I stamped the Blowing Leaves background stamp on white card with embossing ink. I then covered the panel with 3 different colours of WOW embossing powder – Apple Red, Metalline Flame and Kiwi Krush – and used my heat tool to melt the powders.

I die cut the Gallery Frame #5 slimline die twice – from white card and also Tonic Studio Glazed Chestnut Pearlescent card. I adhered the pearlescent frame to my card base, then added the white inner frame. I also stamped a greeting from the Typed Everyday stamp set on the white frame.

I cut my embossed panel down to make 3 squares to fit the slimline die frame. To add some ground for my critters, I added a strip of pearlescent card to each of the squares. I used Cosmic Copper, Rusted Crimson and Majestic Gold.

I stamped some images from the Fall Friends stamp set and coloured them with copic markers. I die cut them with the coordinating dies and layered some blank die cuts behind to add dimension, before adhering them to my card.

As a finishing touch, I added some die cut Fall Leaves. I embossed these with the same powders as the background, but mixed in some of the WOW Changer Lightening Effects powders to add some different texture to the orange and red leaves.
