Spellbinders October 2020 Small Die of the Month

Today I’m sharing a card made with the October 2020 Small Die of the Month from Spellbinders.

This month, you get the Fall Leaves Card Creator kit – a set of 8 cutting dies which create an elegant frame with decorative leaves.

The Small Die of the Month Club is a monthly subscription featuring an exclusive set of small versatile dies that cut, emboss, and stencil.

For those that want to join multiple clubs and save, Spellbinders offers Value Clubs.

I began by die cutting the frame pieces from white card, layering each piece up twice for dimension. I adhered them together to create my frame.

Next, I die cut the smaller frame piece and the leaves from gold mirror card. I adhered the gold centres on the frame, then adhered some of the leaves for decoration.

For the background, I used another of my gel plate printed backgrounds. This was created with distress oxides in Wild Honey, Abandoned Coral and Seedless Preserves.

I added a foiled sentiment from the Let Your Sentiments Shine glimmer kit to the centre, using Gold foil.

I adhered the background to the card, then the frame on top to finish.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed seeing the card I made with this fabulous kit.
