Hello Bluebird Long Distance

The Long Distance stamp set from Hello Bluebird is just perfect for these times when we can’t see friends and family so often. I’m missing my family overseas so I made this card to send to them.

On a panel of white card, I used the Lawn Fawn Just Stitching Double Circle die set to add some detail. I adhered some Lawn Fawn rainbow patterned paper to my card base, then adhered the panel on top.

Next, I stamped two sentiments from the Long Distance stamp set on the panel. I love that these sentiments are separate stamps, so it’s easy to place them apart.

I stamped and copic coloured images from the Long Distance stamp set, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

I adhered the branches on the card with liquid glue. I added some extra die cut layers behind the squirrels, for dimension, then adhered them to the card. I added some silver thread between them, to connect the tin can phones.

To help secure the thread better, I adhered some leaves over the top. I then added some white gel pen details to finish.
