The new Snow Day stamp set from Hello Bluebird is so adorable. I just love that owl!

This set goes perfectly with the scene dies that Hello Bluebird released at the same time, but I wanted to show a different way to use these images.
I began by adding some stitching detail to a card base with the Lawn Fawn Just Double Stitching Rectangles die set. I’ll use this area for a mini scene.

Next, I die cut with the same rectangle a piece of patterned paper that I’d made using a gel press with distress oxide inks. Although this die only adds the stitching detail, I can use those lines as a guide to cut the paper to fit the space on the card. The distress oxide colours I used for this print are chipped sapphire, peacock feathers and cracked pistachio.
Before adhering the panel to my card, I embossed some snowflakes from the Snow Day stamp set, using WOW Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I also added a layer of white glitter card, die cut with a Hill & Dale die.

Next, I stamped lots of images from the Snow Day stamp set and coloured them with copic markers. I die cut them with the coordinating dies, adding some blank die cut layers behind each image for dimension.
For the sentiment, from the Snow Day stamp set, I white heat embossed it three times on some blue pearlescent card. I then used a banner die from the Stitched Tag Builder set to cut them out, before adding to the card with foam tape to finish.
You’ll have that song going round in your head now!
