Big & Bold Perfume Bouquet

I absolutely love perfume so this beautiful Big & Bold Perfume Bouquet stamp set from Colorado Craft Company caught my eye recently.

It’s an older release, which I missed at the time, so I grabbed the set from my favourite online UK craft store – Seven Hills Crafts.

I began by stamping the large perfume and flowers image onto some watercolour paper. I used versafine onyx black ink, then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I added some water to the perfume bottle image, then tapped on some Cherry Bomb nuvo shimmer powder. I moved the colour around with a brush so it covered the perfume bottle, keeping the painting loose. I then used my heat tool to dry the panel.

To balance the vibrancy of the perfume bottle, I decided to keep the rest of the watercolour painting lighter. I used zig real brush pens with water to paint the flowers and leaves. Then dried the panel again with my heat tool..

As this image is large, it fits perfectly on an A2 or A6 card base. I decided to offset the image for a different look. I used a rectangle die from the Heffy Doodle Metric Stitched Rectangle die set to cut the watercolour panel down.

Using the largest die in the set, I cut a piece of Tonic Studios Golden Mosaic embossed gold card and adhered that to my card base. I then added the smaller panel on top.

I heat embossed a sentiment from the Big & Bold Perfume Bouquet stamp set onto watercolour card, using gold embossing powder. I stamped the square from the perfume bottle around it, in versafine onyx black, then heat embossed that with clear embossing powder to match the rest of the image. I fussy cut it out and adhered to my image with foam tape.

I added some Pretty Pink Posh jewels as finishing touches – a metallic gold jewel on the perfume bottle, and some pearl white jewels next to it.
