Panda Cupcake Critter

I had fun turning the bear, from the Pretty Pink Posh Cupcake Critters stamp set, into a panda for my card today.

I used a pencil to lightly draw circles around the eyes so I knew where to add colour. I used my N copic markers, along with R20 and R30 markers for the cheeks and ears.

On my card base, I adhered a panel of copper pearlescent card, to cover about a third of the card base. I die cut two Stitched Strips of navy pearlescent card to add some interest.

At the top of the copper panel. I adhered a cupcake border, from the Party Days stamp set. I’d stamped this with River Rock ink, then copic coloured in a soft rainbow.

As the bear will cover the blue cupcakes on the border, I used blue to colour the cupcake that the panda is holding.

I cut him out with the coordinating die, adding some extra layers behind for dimension, then adhered him to the card with liquid glue.

To finish, I stamped a sentiment from the Cupcake Critters stamp set next to the panda.
