Spellbinders Yana’s Blooming Birthday Collection

Today I’m sharing a card made with some beautiful products from Spellbinders Yana’s Blooming Birthday Collection. This glimmer collection has a lovely mix of backgrounds, sentiments and florals.

I’m using the Birthday Candle Background glimmer set, along with Yana’s Tiny Sentiments Glimmer set, on my card today.

I love the fun look of the Birthday Candle Background. It can be foiled twice to cover an A2 card. I used Speckled Prism foil to foil an A2 panel of white card. I love this foil as it shows different colours when the card is tilted in the light – a perfect companion for the rainbow foils.

Next, I foiled the background a few more times with the new Mini Rainbow Stripe foil. The new foil has a closer stripe pattern, which means even more rainbow.

The Birthday Candle Background glimmer set comes with two coordinating dies to cut out the candles. I die cut 8 candles, layering white die cuts behind for dimension. I adhered them onto the centre of my card, over the top of the other foiled candles.

I foiled a sentiment from Yana’s Tiny Sentiments Glimmer set, on black card with silver foil. I trimmed it down and adhered over the rainbow candles to finish.
