Spellbinders July 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit

Today I’m sharing a card made with the Spellbinders July 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil kit.

This month, you get the Mini Slimline Nested Glimmer Dots set with 7 borders, along with a full roll of rose gold foil.

The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil kit is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.

You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

There are also two Value club options available:

Glimmer ‘n Cut – small die, large die and glimmer kits of the month
Glimmer Groupie – small die, large die, card and glimmer kits of the month

I used the Mini Slimline Nested Glimmer Dots to create a geometric pattern on my masculine card.

I chose an selection of blue, grey and white card stock, cutting panels out ready for foiling. There are 7 glimmer plates in the kit, but I just used the smallest 3 borders on my card.

I used Polished Brass foil, securing the plates with washi tape so they foiled in the correct place.

For my sentiment, I chose the beautiful scripty Happy Birthday, which is from the Slimline Confetti Background Glimmer set (available separately).

I arranged the different panels on my A2 card base, adhering with tape and cutting away any overlapping pieces to finish.
