Today I’m sharing a card to celebrate continuing on the Pretty Pink Posh team this term. Do check out the DT announcement post on the PPP blog, as there’s a fab giveaway to enter!

For my summery Aloha card, I began by stamping out 3 borders from Summer Borders and colouring them with copic markers in a rainbow of colours. I then die cut with the coordinating die.

I adhered the borders across the centre of an A2 top folding notecard, trimming away any overhanging edges.
Next, I stamped and copic coloured the flamingo from Summer Fun and die cut it with the coordinating die. I stamped a sentiment on the sign from the same set.

I added two die cut layers behind the flamingo, to add some dimension. I find this easier than adding foam tape, especially on images with thin areas like the legs on the flamingo.

I die cut a vellum circle and adhered the flamingo on top, then added the vellum circle onto the card. I hid the adhesive behind the flamingo, so it doesn’t show through the vellum.
Don’t forget to check out the DT announcement post on the PPP blog and enter the giveaway.
