Hello Bluebird Balloon & Bouquet Buddies

Today I’m sharing a look at the Balloon Buddies and Bouquet Buddies stamp sets. These sets work so well together.

The critters on my card are from the Bouquet Buddies stamp set. I stamped them and the balloons from the Balloons Buddies stamp set and coloured them with copic markers. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

These balloons are perfect for an off the top card design. I trimmed down a normal sized case base to allow room for the balloons to go above the fold in the card. This means the card will still fit in a normal sized envelope.

I coloured all the images with copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. I added a blank die cut layer behind the balloons, so the copic colouring couldn’t be seen from the back. I adhered the balloons to the card base, then added a couple more balloons on top with foam tape, for extra dimension.

I adhered some coloured card strips to the bottom of the card, stamping a sentiment from the Balloon Buddies stamp set on one of the strips. I then adhered the rest of the images to finish.
