Spellbinders October 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit

Today I’m sharing a card made with the Spellbinders October 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil kit.

This month, you get the Glimmering Autumn Woods set, with 6 hot foil plates and 9 cutting dies. You also get a full roll of copper foil.

The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil kit is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.

You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

There are also two Value club options available:

Glimmer Groupie – small die, large die, card and glimmer kits of the month

I foiled the different glimmer plates in the set, using copper foil. I foiled the images on some handmade gel printed backgrounds, which gives variation in colour.

I die cut all the images with the coordinating dies, then arranged them on a white panel, adhering with liquid glue.

On a white card base, I stamped sentiments from the October Clear Stamp of the Month. This is a lovely sentiment stamp set, with a few large focal words and lots of accompanying smaller sentiments.

I adhered my panel with the foiled images at the top of the card base, then adhered a couple of strips of copper pearlescent card between the panel and the sentiment to finish.
