My card today features the new Village stamp set from the Pretty Pink Posh October release. I’ve teamed it with the previously released Penguin Pals stamp set, for a penguin skating Christmas party.

The Village stamp set coordinating dies will cut the image of all three buildings as one piece. As I wanted to use the large buildings on an A2 portrait card, I used scissors to cut them apart. I’ll just use two of the buildings from the Village set on this card, along with the lamppost and wreath.

I also stamped out two images from the Penguin Pals stamp set. All the images are coloured with copic markers.

For the background, I used a handmade gel print that I had previously created, using picked raspberry, spun sugar and abandoned coral distress oxide inks. I adhered this to my card base, then used the new Snowfall stencil and Nuvo Moostone Glimmer Paste, to add a subtle snowy sky.

I added the Village images to the card with liquid glue, cutting away anything overhanging the edges. I then used a Scallop Border die to cut some white glitter card for snowy hills. I adhered these to the card, leaving space for a sentiment. The sentiment is from an older set – Reindeer Friends.
Finally, I added the penguins with foam tape and some Nuvo Fresh Snowfall Glitter Accents to the house.
