Winter Candle

I love to combine new and older Pretty Pink Posh sets on my Christmas cards. The Winter Frame works perfectly with the new Winter Candles die.

I blended Hickory Smoke distress oxide ink onto an A2 card base, then added lots of gold perfect pearls and black distress oxide splatters. I die cut the Winter Frame from white card and adhered over the top.

The Winter Candles die outline is two die cut layers of white card. I adhered this to the card, then paper pieced coloured and glitter card pieces to fill in the image. I kept the colour palette simple, to match the background.

The sentiments are from the new Holiday Scripts stamp set. This is definitely a must-have set as it’s so versatile, especially when used with the coordinating die set.

I embossed a large sentiment from the set with WOW Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder on white card, then die cut it with the coordinating die, adding layers behind for dimension. I stamped another sentiment from the set on the card base, then adhered the stacked sentiment to finish.
