Spellbinders Yana’s Blooms Collection

Today I’m sharing cards made with products from the Spellbinders Yana’s Blooms Collection.

This collection features beautiful florals but I decided to focus my cards on the fabulous Diagonal Glimmer Stripes background and Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments die set.

I began by foiling the Diagonal Glimmer Stripes background with matte gold foil on navy and white card stock.

Card 1

For my first card, I added a strip of the blue foiled card to a card base, then a panel of the white foiled card above. Between the two colours, I adhered some strips of satin gold mirror card.

I foiled some sentiments, from the previously released Mini Everyday Sentiments glimmer set, using the same matte gold foil and card stock. I die cut these out using the coordinating die, then adhered them to the card following the diagonal of the glimmer plate.

Card 2

On my second card, I cut two panels in to quarters, then adhered the navy and white pieces on my card base.

For the sentiment, I used Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments die set. These beautiful sentiments have a shadow layer and a thin scripty word layer. I die cut them from the navy card and satin gold mirror card, then adhered them together. A layer of stick it adhesive behind the blue card before die cutting the scripty word makes this much easier.

To finish the sentiment, I added a foiled sentiment from Mini Everyday Sentiments glimmer set

Bonus card

I had enough pieces left over from my other two cards to make one more, this time in a landscape design. I love these large layered scripty sentiments against the diagonal foiled background.
