Spellbinders February 2022 Club Kits

Today I’m sharing two cards made with the Spellbinders February 2022 Glimmer Hot Foil and Embossing Folder club kits.

Glimmer Kit

This month, you get text the Anytime Glimmer Sentiments set, with 6 hot foil plates. You also get a full roll of foil.

The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil kit is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.

You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

Embossing Folder of the Month

The Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders is a fabulous new monthly subscription club for 2022.

This month, you get the Sketched Floral embossing folder.

Add beautiful embossing textures and patterns to your cards. Sized at 5.5” x 8.5”, you can create backgrounds for A2, slimline, 5×7 cards and more with these embossing folders!

Card 1

For my first card, I used the February club embossing folder with a panel of white card. I then adhered this to my A6 card base.

I ran the embossing folder through again, this time with some purple sparkle card stock. I adhered this smaller panel at the bottom edge of my card.

Next, I foiled a sentiment from the February Glimmer Kit, both on the white and purple card stock, using Matte Gold foil. I trimmed them both down to create a strip sentiment, with one word on each. I then adhered these onto my card to finish.

Card 2

On my second card, I focused on the February Glimmer Kit.

I repeatedly foiled the Happy Birthday glimmer plate with Matte Silver foil over a panel of white card. I then adhered this to my A6 card base.

Next, I used the February embossing folder to add a pattern to a small panel of white card.

I then foiled one of the larger sentiments in the February Glimmer Kit, using Speckled Aura foil, over the top.

I adhered a strip of purple sparkle card at the top and bottom of this panel, then some scraps of card behind the panel for dimension, before adhering it to the centre of my card to finish.
