Pretty Pink Posh March 2022 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m joining this 3-day blog hop, celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh March release!

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Jeannie Lieu. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My circle card features the new Easter Wreath stamp set, which is the latest in the wreath collection by Pretty Pink Posh.

I stamped and copic coloured the Easter Wreath, then die cut it out with the coordinating die. I added two layers behind for dimension.

How to create a circle card base

To create my circle card base, I ran a folded card base through my die cut machine with a large circle die. Position the top of the die just above the score line to get a circle card. I used a shim to add enough pressure to cut through the folded card base.

To help the card base stand up, use a trimmer to cut away a small straight edge at the back of the card base.

I cut another circle from white card, the same size as the card base, to layer on top. This circle hides the scored edge and gives a full circle look.

Next, I cut a smaller circle of white card, then used some border dies to create a hillside, clouds and sky. I blended distress oxide inks over the pieces. then adhered them together on my card base.

I stamped a sentiment from the Easter Wreath stamp set, the added the wreath to finish my Spring circle card.

  3. I like that it’s a circle card because it coordinates so well with the circle wreath. The way you created the meadow, the clouds and the sky is really nice, and the way you layered everything is cleaver too. It gave the feel and remembrance of when I was much younger (not saying now much… LOL) and used to participate in Easter Egg Hunts in a nearby park. Such fun and nice memories. Thank you so much for sharing.

  5. Hi, Gemma – Great take on a card for Easter! It’s round instead of egg-shaped or peep-shaped. I love this new wreath and feel like I can say “I love that!” to 90% of the items in the release. Holy smokes! How am I supposed to choose? I can’t order it all but I’d sure like to!
