Today I’m sharing a card made with the Spellbinders April 2022 Glimmer Hot Foil kit.
This month, you get the Glimmer Burst kit, with 4 hot foil plates and 2 cutting dies. You also get a full roll of foil.
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil kit is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

This Glimmer Burst foil plate is so pretty! To get a full burst pattern, you need to foil the plate twice. It’s easy to line up the pattern for the second foiling.
I foiled on some patterned paper using Speckled Aura foil, which is a lovely gold that picks up other colours in the light. I cut the panel down to mini slimline size (3.5 x 6″) and adhered to a card base.
Next, I used Gold foil for a sentiment on a piece of light yellow card. There are three sentiments included in the set.
I die cut the sentiment with the circle die from the kit, layering another die cut behind for dimension. I then used the other die in the kit to cut a sunshine from gold mirror card. I layered this behind the sentiment and added to the foiled card to finish.
