Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders August 2022 Glimmer Hot Foil and Embossing Folder clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get the Illustrated Floral & Solid glimmer set (4 hot foil plates and 3 cutting dies), plus a full roll of foil.
I began by creating a background using the Color Block Slices dies. I trimmed the panel down to A2, then used the floral glimmer plate with gold foil to add detail directly to the color block panel.
I also foiled a sentiment from the set on a piece of blue card, to match the panel.
Next, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the foiled floral image and sentiment. I added die cut layers behind each for dimension.
I adhered the panel to a card base, then the floral back in place and the sentiment alongside to finish.
Embossing Folder Club
This month, you get the Intertwined Lattice embossing folder.
As with the glimmer card, I first created a color block panel, this time in an ombré.
I trimmed it down to a mini slimline size, then ran it through my platinum 6 die cutting machine with the embossing folder and adhered it to a card base.
I foiled three gold sentiments, using the colours of cardstock on the panel, with a glimmer plate from the Mini Everyday Sentiments glimmer set. I adhered these with foam tape to finish.
