Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders September 2022 Glimmer Hot Foil and Embossing Folder clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get Thankful for You set, with 4 hot foil plates and 5 cutting dies. You also get a full roll of foil.
I used the large floral hot foil plate in the set to foil on pearl white card, using Champagne foil. I foiled the plate twice, die cut with the coordinating die, then layered them together to create a diamond frame.
Next, I foiled a sentiment from the September set, also on pearl white card using Champagne foil. I adhered this behind the diamond frame.
For my background, I used the September club embossing folder to emboss some textured red card. I love the mix of textures and added interest this gives.
I layered this panel on my A2 card base, then added the diamond frame and sentiment in the centre.
I added some foiled flowers and leaves, using hot foil plates and dies from the September club kit. I then finished with some raspberry jewels in the centres of the flowers.
Embossing Folder Club
This month, you get the Scattered Fall embossing folder. I thought this would be perfect for an elegant wedding card.
I embossed a mini slimline card pearl white panel with the embossing folder, then adhered it to a card base.
For the sentiment, I used a glimmer plate from the Essential Glimmer Sentiments set. I foiled it with Champagne foil on pearl white card. I trimmed it down and adhered to the card with foam tape.
To finish, I adhered a thin strip of satin mirror gold card below the sentiment.
