Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders October 2022 Glimmer Hot Foil and Embossing Folder clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get the Poinsettia Spray set, with 4 hot foil plates and 4 cutting dies. You also get a full roll of foil.
I foiled the large floral glimmer plate on pearl white card with moondust, using the coordinating die to cut it out.
I used the same coordinating die to add an edge to a piece of blue pearl card.
Next, I partially die cut a card base with the large floral coordinating die, ensuring to keep part of the fold of the card base at the top.
I added some die cut layers behind the floral foiled piece, then adhered it to the card, lining it up to the die cut card base.
I adhered the blue pearl card below, then a couple of strips of holographic silver card.
Finally, I added a silver foiled sentiment, using one of the sentiments in this months glimmer kit.
Embossing Folder Club
This month, you get the Scattered Christmas embossing folder.
I created a mini slimline ombre card with the October embossing folder, embossing three different blue card panels.
I used a previously released Spellbinders die set – Color Block Scenic Scape – to cut the panels into sections.
I adhered the panels to a slimline card base, then added two thin strips of silver holographic card between the panels, cut with the same die set.
I finished the card with a silver foiled and die cut sentiment, using the Glimmer Kit for October.
