Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders December 2022 Glimmer Hot Foil and Embossing Folder clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get the Floral Flame Glimmering Heart set, with 5 hot foil plates and 8 cutting dies. You also get a full roll of foil.
On a mini slimline panel of red pearlescent card, I foiled the floral heart glimmer plate twice with Champagne foil, offsetting the patterns. I then adhered it to a mini slimline card base.
I also foiled the smaller scalloped heart glimmer plate on red pearlescent card, die cutting it out with the coordinating dies. I then adhered it inside one of the floral glimmer hearts. I trimmed away the overlapping side and then adhered that half inside the other floral heart.
For the sentiment, I used the standalone banner and greeting from the Glimmer Kit, cut from pale gold pearlescent card. I layered two more banners behind for dimension.
Embossing Folder Club
This month, you get the Heart Blooms embossing folder.
To create my Valentine’s Day card, I began by embossing a mini slimline panel of pale gold pearlescent card. I then adhered it to a mini slimline card base.
I used the December Glimmer Kit to add a foiled heart and sentiment banner, with Champagne foil and pearlescent card in red and pale gold. I adhered the banner with foam tape for dimension.
