Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders February 2023 Glimmer Hot Foil and Stitching clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
The Stitching Die of the Month is a new club for 2023. It’s a great way to add detail and texture to projects.

Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get the Tulip Border set, with 3 hot foil plates and 2 cutting dies, plus a full roll of foil. You can colour this foiled design or leave as an outline only, as I have done.
I foiled the large tulip border with speckled aura foil on white card.
Next, I foiled one of the sentiments from the February kit, on dark pink card with gold foil. I used a die from a previously released Spellbinders glimmer set to cut the sentiment out, along with more strips of coloured card.
I adhered the strips to a mini slimline card base, then the Tulip Border set above. I decided to trim down card base to 5” tall.
Stitching Die Club
This month, you get the Pocket Full of Spring set, with 22 cutting dies. There is a large pocket on the set, but I decided not to use this on my card today.
There is also a add-on die set available, called Pocket Full of Spring Sentiments, with 5 cutting dies that coordinate perfectly with the February stitching dies. I didn’t use this set today.
I die cut the flowers and leaves from blue and white card stock. I then added stitching details – regular embroidery floss for the leaves and metallic embroidery floss for the flowers. I used 4 threads for the leaves and 2 for the flowers.
Once I’d finished the stitching, I added a back layer to each one so the same colour showed through the stitching holes at the front.
I die cut a sentiment from the set, adhered it over a dark blue banner and adhered it to my mini slimline card base.
I then adhered the leaves and flowers around my card to create a pretty background design.
