Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders June 2023 Glimmer Hot Foil and Stitching clubs.

Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
The Stitching Die of the Month is a new club for 2023. It’s a great way to add detail and texture to projects.
For those that want to join multiple clubs and save, Spellbinders offers Value Clubs.
Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get the Sending Waves set, with 3 hot foil plates and 4 cutting dies. There is also an add-on sentiment glimmer set available (CLG-002), that works with all the June clubs.

I began by foiling the two wave patterns with Speckled Prism foil on patterned papers from Craft Consortium. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them both out.
For my background, I cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Spiffy Speckled blue patterned paper and adhered to an A2 landscape card base.

There are some great elements in the other June kits that can coordinate with these glimmer waves. As I don’t have those kits, I instead found a lovely mermaid from the Hello Bluebird Sea Friends stamp set. I coloured the image in with copic markers, then die cut it with the coordinating die.
I adhered the first way to the card, followed by the mermaid, then the second wave. I didn’t use any dimension for these elements.

For the sentiment, I used one from the add-on set. I foiled it on the same speckled blue patterned paper, with moondust foil. I added a couple of layers behind for dimension, then adhered to my card to finish.
Copic colours:
Mermaid hair: RV23 RV25 R27; mermaid tail: BG000 BG11-15
Stitching Die Club
This month, you get the Stitched Shell Card Front set, with 7 cutting dies.

The largest outline die in the set is perfect for creating a shaped greetings card. I ran it through my die cutting machine over a folded card base, leaving the top edge free so it didn’t cut through. I then die cut a second panel from pearlescent navy blue card and adhered to my card base.
Next, I cut the large outline die with the more decorative inner panel from pearlescent white card. I adhered this to the card base.

I die cut additional panels, using dies from the set, to add a pearlescent pink border and a pearlescent navy blue centre for a sentiment.

I foiled, in silver, a large sentiment from a previously released glimmer set. I added a second layer behind for dimension, before adhering to my card.
There are shell stitching dies that can be added to the large panel but I really liked the look of it without, so decided not to do any stitching this time. Instead, I added some small pearl white jewels to finish.
