Spellbinders February 2024 Clubs

Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders February 2024 Glimmer Hot Foil and Stitching clubs.

Club Details

The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.

You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

The Stitching Die of the Month is a great way to add detail and texture to projects. The dies work well with or without stitching, making them a really versatile choice.

Stitching Die Club

This month, you get the Stitched Floral Focal Card Front, with 5 cutting dies.

I chose a blue and white colour palette, one of my favourites for floral cards. I die cut the large panel and the centre circle from pearl white card, and the large centre flower from pearl blue card.

I stitched the panels with a selection of blue and white embroidery thread. Some of the areas on the large panel are quite small, so bear that in mind when thinking about hiding the ends of the embroidery threads.

I adhered the panel to a piece of blue patterned paper, then adhered everything to an A2 card base.

Glimmer Hot Foil Club

This month, you get the Daffodil Spray set, with 3 hot foil plates and 3 cutting dies.

The large flower hot foil plate has lots of lovely detail, so works well as just an outline, if you prefer not to colour.

I chose an A2 panel of patterned paper and foiled the plate with Champagne foil. I then adhered this panel to an A2 card base.

Next, I foiled one of the sentiments on a strip of aqua card, using the same Champagne foil. I adhered this strip to across the card with foam tape to finish.
