Spellbinders May 2024 Clubs

Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders May 2024 Glimmer and Stitching clubs.

Club Details

The Spellbinders Glimmer of the Month is a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.

You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

The Stitching Die of the Month is a great way to add detail and texture to projects. The dies work well with or without stitching, making them a really versatile choice.

Stitching Die of the Month

This month, you get the Stitched Pineapple set, with 6 cutting dies.

I decided on a non-traditional colour palette of navy blue and pink, with cream stitching on the pineapple.

The card base is a mini slimline with rounded corners. The base is 6” high and gives an idea of the pineapple size.

I also added a white heat embossed sentiment from Pretty Pink Posh.

Glimmer of the Month

This month, you get the Tropical Bloom set, with 3 hot foil plates and 2 cutting dies. You also get a full roll of glimmer foil (colours may vary).

I embossed the large flower with champagne foil over a panel of purple patterned paper.

I chose one of the sentiments in the set, foiling with the same foil on more of the same patterned paper. I then used the coordinating die to cut out the sentiment, along with a purple cardstock layer. This acts as a shadow behind and help the sentiment stand out.

I used a mini slimline card base again, which is one of my favourite card sizes.
