Summer Watermelon

Today I have a summer card to share, featuring the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Watermelons stencil set. There are 4 layers in the set, which I blended with distress oxides. I then adhered it to a 6″ square card base.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Summer Drinks stamp set, and die cut it with the coordinating die. I added a couple of pink die cut layers to add dimension and peek out from behind.

On the card base, I stamped a sentiment from the Simple Sentiments stamp set. I then adhered the die cut summer work above.

For some additional summer images, I stamped and coloured images from the Summer Drinks and Summer Wreath stamp sets. I added some die cut layers behind the drink and sunglasses, before adhering to the card to finish.

Please note, I keep a box of coloured images and backgrounds ready to use for future cards. All the elements used on this card were previously coloured so I don’t have copic marker or distress oxide ink colours to share today.
