Pretty Pink Posh January 2025 Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m pleased to be joining this blog hop celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh January 2025 release!

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Meghan Kennihan. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the new Love Word Shaker. This versatile die can be used to create shaker cards, or layering the letters as I have done.

I began by die cutting the shadow layer from white card. I then die cut the individual letters from different colours of card stock. I added two white layers behind each letter for dimension.

For the background, I die cut a 4.5” square panel of pale pink card. I then cut two 2.25” square panels from some other colours of pink card stock, adhering them in two of the corners.

I adhered this panel to a 5.25” card base, then added the Love Word Shaker in the centre. To finish, I adhered another colour of pink card stock in the centre of the white background.

  1. Hi, Gemma – Twice I tried to comment and twice I felt like I did not succeed. The comment area of your site looks different today. Is it possible that you changed the site somehow and it is affecting our ability to comment? Could you please let me know if you have one from me? Lori Spitzer

    1. Hi Lori, nothing has changed on the site so not sure what the issue is. Looks like this comment has published OK so hopefully it’ll all good now. Best wishes, Gemma

  2. Wow, I had a hard time commenting. I had to leave and come back. So glad I tried again.

I really like the LOVE shaker die. The colors you used really stand out. I think this die will be great for my scraps too. It really is a great die.
