Handmade Cards

A Special Birthday

I had some special birthday cards to make this month as it’s my Dad’s birthday.

60th Birthday Card
I made this card for my Mum to give to my Dad. I love the background paper. It’s from a book of papers that I’ve had for a while and the music theme is perfect.

I ran the birthday word die through my die cutting machine twice, then used the ‘th’ from one word to add to the number 60 to create ’60th’. An easy way to extend the use of word dies.

I used a Stick-It adhesive sheets to attach the word dies, which was much easier than using liquid glue.

Products used to make this card:

  • Wplus9 ‘Happy Trio Dies’

  • Paper – The Bumper Book of Papers
  • Bazzill Basics Dotted Swiss card
  • Clearly Besotted Birthday word die
  • X-Cut Star dies
  • Star confetti
  • Stick-It Adhesive sheets
