Today I’m sharing a musical geometric patterned card I made for my brother.
I ran some dark grey card through my die cut machine with the Lil’Inker Designs Woodgrain cover die. I blended distress ink in green and yellow onto white card, then used the Lil’Inker Designs Quilted Stitch cover die to add detail.
I then used the Lil’Inker Designs Dual Stitched Triangles to cut triangles of different sizes. I arranged these on a white A6 card front, using foam tape to raise some up for dimension.
I decided to add some musical elements to the card. First I added a strip of black and white patterned paper along the bottom edge of the card (to resemble piano keys). I added a strip of gold glitter paper above this.
I then die cut some MFT Musical Notes from the same gold glitter paper, and added them to the card. Finally, I added a gold ‘celebrate’ word die cut, using the Avery Elle Sentimentals die set.
Love how your paired the geometry with the swirly pattern andd the musical notes – really fun card! Thanks for playing along at Seven Hills Crafts
