I’m playing along with MFT Camp Create today, with a card for the ‘Divine Dry Embossing’ challenge. This isn’t a technique I’ve really explored before so was fun to try something new.
I used a tan embossing mat with my Cuttlebug machine, to dry emboss on white card the ‘happy birthday’ words from the MFT Brushstroke Birthday Greetings die-namics.
I added some colour around the edges using peacock feathers distress ink, then cut it down to a little smaller than A6 and adhered to an A6 card base.
I coloured an image from the MFT Beary Special Birthday stamp set and fussy cut it out. I wanted something for it to sit on so, using a die from the MFT Inside and Out Stitched Rectangles Dienamics, I added a white rectangle to the centre of the card, stamping a sentiment from the bear stamp set at the top. I stuck down the bear image on top of the rectangle, and added some wink of Stella and glossy accents to the balloon.
I stamped and coloured the presents image from the same set, fussy cut it out, then added it to the card next to the bear. I finished the card with a few clear sparkling sequins.
It’s been fun to join in with this MFT challenge.
