When Lawn Fawn debuted their fabulous scalloped box card pop-up die, I knew it was a must have! They have included so many dies in the set, so it’s great value, and it makes it so easy to create interactive cards. I also love that, when folded, the cards fit in a normal envelope. I use C7 envelopes and they fit no problem.
Today I’m sharing the card I’ve made for my niece for Easter, featuring the Mama Elephant Lil’ Painters stamp set.
I stamped all the images and coloured them with copic pens, then fussy cut them out.
I chose a piece of double sided 12×12 paper from my stash. I rarely use 12×12 papers anymore but the box pop-up gives them a new lease of life.
I cut two panels and three inserts, then put the box together. I followed Lawn Fawn’s great YouTube tutorial to make sure I did this step correctly.
I coloured and cut three MFT grassy hills to add to the inserts. I then added all the images to the box. I used acetate behind two of the chicks to make them look like they’re flying.
The flowers are from the Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie stamp set, and the sentiment is from the Mama Elephant Mini Messages stamp set.
I’m thrilled with this box card and the die is definitely a must have. I know it’s pretty much out of stock everywhere at the moment, but if you set up a stock alert at Seven Hills Crafts, they’ll let you know when it’s back in. Go and grab one as soon as you can, you won’t be disappointed!
Love that Easter box and have one on order that I hope to receive next week and can’t wait! 🙂
