This is my first card using a tic-tac-toe challenge board, and I really enjoyed it!
I chose a diagonal line, which gave me these three elements:
* Animals
* Big words / letters
* Die cutting
I’ve also chosen the Mama Elephant Little Cat Agenda stamp set again for my challenge card. I can’t get enough of these adorable cats!
First, I die cut a scalloped rectangle (from the MFT Blueprints 27 set). From this, I die cut the MFT Big Hello die-namic.
Using my Mini-Misti, I stamped four cats dancing across the letters, double stamping to get a good impression.
I kept the copic colouring of the cats simple, only using cool greys, as I wanted to add bold colours to the Hello.
I die cut the word die 5 times from some MFT patterned paper, choosing rainbow colours. I added some of the same colours to the cat accessories.
Once I’d adhered everything down, I decided it needed a sentiment underneath the big word, to balance it out. I love the ‘hi sweetie’ sentiment from the Paper Smooches Cute Fruits stamp set. I selectively inked this so only ‘sweetie’ was stamped.
I really love this card, it makes me smile! Those cats look like they are having so much fun and you can never go wrong with rainbow colours. I hope you like it too and feel inspired to have a go at the Seven Hills Crafts March challenge.
I agree the cats are adorable. The look of this card really appeals to me, I can think of lots of people I would like to send a card like this.
