Colouring Virtuoso – MFT Card Design Superstar 2017 Competition

I love the hedgehogs from the September 2016 MFT release and thought they’d be perfect for my next entry into the MFT Card Design Superstar – the colouring challenge.

I stamped lots of images from the set, then coloured them using copics. I also added some white gel pen detail. On the log image, I white heat embossed a greeting, which fits perfectly in the space.

On a card base, I blended on distress oxide inks in Candied Apple and Wild Honey, keeping it lighter towards the centre. I then spritzed it with water for droplet details.

I cut three white card panels using a die from blueprints 27, then layered these together. I adhered this to the card base, then added the images to the card base, with a mix of foam tape and liquid glue.
