MFT Sketch Challenge 368 – Guest Designer

I’m back for my 3rd week as MFT Sketch Challenge guest designer!

Here is a link to this week’s competition, where you can see more inspiration from the fabulous MFT Design Team. I hope you’ll join in with this fun challenge!

For my inspiration card this week, I chose the beautiful new set, Brushstroke Blooms. I stamped the images with MFT dye inks, then die cut them with the coordinating dienamics.

On a white card base, I added some score lines. I haven’t tried this technique before but it’s perfect for subtle detail. Then I die cut a stitched tag, adding it to the card base with foam tape.

I arranged the leaves and flowers on the tag to make a wreath, then adhered them to the tag. I used some foam tape behind the flowers for dimension.

For the sentiment, I used a lovely greeting from the new Sending a Smile stamp set, die cut with a Stitched Sentiment Strip.

I finished the card with some clear iridescent jewels from Lucy’s Cards.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope that you will have a go at the MFT sketch challenge this week.
