I have a Pretty Pink Posh card to share today, using a beautiful new set called Pretty Petunias.
This set is perfect for colouring techniques, with the outline images of flowers and leaves. I’ve kept the colouring very simple for this card, and tried something that’s new to me – the stained glass window technique.
Using the coordinating dies, I die cut three windows from a piece of white card. I stamped and heat embossed the flowers on to acetate, with silver embossing powder. Then I layered these behind the windows.
I heat embossed in silver a sentiment from the Hummingbird Thanks stamp set.
On some small pieces of card, I did some very simple copic colouring, using a flicking motion to quickly add the colour.
At the back of the stained glass window panel, I added a layer of foam tape, then layered the copic colouring behind. The foam tape adds a little dimension between the acetate and the colouring.
I added the panel to a white card base, then added a few sequins from the Spring Blooms mix to finish.
