I’m sharing a card today featuring some of the upcoming Pretty Pink Posh release, arriving in stores on March 1st!
I’ve used one of my favourite sets from the new release – Cherry Blossoms.
I stamped lots of the flower images with versamark, then heat embossed them with rose gold embossing powder. I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter, but otherwise I kept the flowers white. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
Next I took a piece of white card and cut it down to be a little smaller than my card base. I die cut a circle towards the top of the panel.
On the card base, I blended on distress oxides in tattered rose and picked raspberry, adding the darker colour towards the edge. I kept the colour just to the area that will show through the circle window.
I then stamped the leaf images from the Cherry Blossom set over the distress ink blending. I used picked raspberry, but only second and third generation stamping so the pattern wasn’t too strong.
I stamped a sentiment from another new release stamp set – Bunny Friends. Watch out for more sneak peeks of this set on the PPP blog soon!
I added the panel to the card with lots of foam tape, then the cherry blossoms to frame the circle.
I finished the card with some of the new jewels in Pink Blush.
Your card is really beautiful and very elegant !
