Today I’m excited to share my first card as part of the Hello Bluebird Design team! I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful team of designers.
Hello Bluebird are a fantastic company that make the cutest stamps! They are relatively new to the scene so, if you haven’t heard of them before, I really recommend heading over to their shop to check out what they have. Even better, their May release goes live on May 17th!
I haven’t got my hands on the May release just yet, but there are some fabulous samples from the design team on the Hello Bluebird blog, plus a chance to win in the giveaway! Click here to visit the blog.
Today I’m sharing a card using a previously released set from Hello Bluebird. I just love the images in the Silly Birds set! The flamingo with the addition of a party hat is so funny and cute.
I began by die cutting a circle frame in a piece of white card. On the frame, I added a blend of distress oxide inks. I also added the same inks to a card base, so the colour shows through the circle window opening. I then adhered the panel and frame to the card base.
I stamped some images from the set and coloured them with copics. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies. I adhered the images within the circle window, using foam tape behind some of the images for interest and dimension.
I finished the card with the fun birthday sentiment included in the set and some PPP pearl white jewels.
I hope you’ll stop by the Hello Bluebird Blog to see all the fun of the new May release previews and for a chance to win in the giveaways.
So cute, the colours work real nice together too 🙂
