I love stamp sets with little images as you can create great scenes and fit so many more critters onto a card when they are smaller. They also take no time at all to colour! So, I was very excited to see the wonderful Farmyard Little Bits set in the May release from Hello Bluebird.
The set comes with a ton of cow and pig images, plus some extra scene building elements. It also has some great sentiments in a really fun and different font.
For my card today, I created a scene using three of the cows, who are heading home after a night on the town!
I began with a white card base and rounded the corners. Next, I ran it through my die cut machine with a set of stitched edge dies to give a patterned area on the card. Remember to open the card base out when you do this step, so the pattern doesn’t cut through to the back.
I masked this area, then added a blend of distress oxide inks to create a grass bank for my images to stand on.
I stamped and copic coloured images from the Farmyard Little Bits stamp set, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I stamped a sentiment from the same set, then added my images to the card with foam squares to finish.
