Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m excited to be joining this blog hop, sharing inspiration using the Spellbinders March 2020 Clubs!
If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Daniel West. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.
For my card, I’ve combined the Glimmer Hot Foil and Small Die of the Month kits. These kits are available separately as monthly subscriptions. They are also available together as part of these Value club options:
- Glimmer ‘n Cut – small die, large die and glimmer kits of the month
- Glimmer Groupie – small die, large die, card and glimmer kits of the month

For my March glimmer kit project, I had used the Easter eggs from the kit with polished brass foil to add patterns over some Nuvo shimmer powder watercolour backgrounds. I had some of these Easter eggs left over so used them for my project today.
I used the polished brass foil to glimmer a sentiment on white card, using two of the word glimmer plates in the March kit. There are 5 sentiments in the kit, which can be used in different combinations to create a perfect Spring greeting.

The eggs are die cut using the large and medium dies included in the kit. There is also a small die so lots of options for projects.
Next, I die cut one of the rabbits from the Small Die of the Month March kit using FSJ cardstock in tin pail and peaches & cream. I love the standing bunny as her hands can hold something. Perfect for holding the sentiment strip.

On my card base, I blended on some tumbled glass distress oxide ink. I then adhered four glimmered Easter eggs with liquid glue.
Using the FSJ Barn Wall embossing folder, I added some texture to a piece of white card. I sat the bunny on this panel, then used foam tape to add it to my card base.
I tucked the sentiment strip under the bunny’s paws, securing with liquid glue, then finished by adding some PPP Pearl White jewels.

I like using half the bunny so it appears to be looking for the edge. Cute card.

The cards were great. Like you, I like to do my own design but I can see where the kit helped things move more quickly. Color choice was perfect. Also really liked the wood front!
