Birthday Balloons For You

The new Layered Birthday stencils from Pretty Pink Posh are really versatile. Use them together or separately, as I have on this card.

I began by inking through the balloon stencil with embossing ink, but only on 4 of the balloons. I then heat embossed them with WOW Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder.

For the rest of the balloons, I used three colours of distress oxides – carved pumpkin, lucky clover and blueprint sketch.

I flicked the panel with water and gold perfect pearls for lots of texture.

So as not to cover the background too much, I used a small die cut sentiment. This is part of the Thankful For You script die. I die cut it three times – twice from white card, and a top layer with Navy Dazzle pearlescent card.

As a finishing touch, I added some gold confetti from the Celebration confetti mix.
