Today I’m sharing a geometric design with simple stamping. I love designs that are quick and easy to recreate if you need a card in a hurry.
For this technique, you need either a circle stencil or a set of circle dies in various sizes to make your own stencil.
I blended on different sized circles onto a white card base, overlapping some and varying the blending pressure to get lighter and darker tones. I kept the colour scheme very simple, only using three colours – purple, green and grey.
Next, I picked a line style floral stamp set. Altenew Hello Sunshine has a lovely mix of florals, with some nice details which work well for this technique. I stamped some of the flowers in black ink over the circles.
I left space in the centre for a sentiment from the Altenew Celebrate stamp set, and heat embossed them in gold. To finish, I added some clear sparkle to the flowers and a few sequins around the card.
