Handmade Cards, Pretty Pink Posh DT

School Thanks

We are nearing the end of school term here in the U.K., so I have been busy making teacher thank you cards. The School Friends stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh is perfect for this.

It has sweet images of school children along with lots of smaller school related images. I decided to make cards using these accompanying images only.

I began by stamping the background onto a white card base. I used all the smaller images, stamping them in red ink.

Next, I die cut a Stitched Duo 1 tag from blue card stock, then heat embossed the books and apple with white embossing powder. Above this, I added a white heat embossed ‘Thank you’ sentiment from the Everyday Greetings stamp set.

I punched a small hole at the top of the tag and added some red and white striped twine. I then added the tag to the card with foam tape.

To finish, I coloured the heat embossed images with a clear glitter brush pen, for a little sparkle.
