I’m a big fan of patterns and prints, especially when they use cute critters. It can be a great way to use different colours not normally associated with animals.
As the Playful Puppies stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh has dogs facing in both directions, it’s perfect for creating a pattern on a card.
I created the pattern with four of the dog images, then added some accompanying stamps from the same set between them. I left space for a sentiment from the Everyday Greetings stamp set.
This is more or less a one layer card. I actually stamped the images on a separate piece of white card, so the copic colouring didn’t show through to the inside. Once everything was stamped and coloured, I adhered it directly on to the card base, and rounded the corners to finish.
