Pretty Pink Posh & Glue Dots Blog Hop

A very big crafty hello and welcome to our very special blog hop collaboration with Pretty Pink Posh and Glue Dots!

We are going to bring you a fun blog hop where there are PRIZES from both companies up for grabs, along with inspiration and videos. The Crafter’s involved in this hop are going to bring you an array of projects, colouring inspiration and a variety of ways to have fun with blithe Pretty Pink Posh and Glue Dots collectively.

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Melanie’s blog. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the Pretty Pink Posh Fall Scene and Small Stitched Foliage. I used some great products from Glue Dots to put the card together.

I began by stamping the Fall Scene image onto white card and colouring with copic markers. I then used the largest die from the Scallop Frames set to cut the card and add a decorative edge. I stamped a greeting from the Fall Scene stamp set on the panel too.

Next, I die cut lots of the Small Stitched Foliage from white card. I used distress oxides to add autumnal colours to each of the leaves. I then heat embossed the edges with glitter embossing powders, for a lovely touch of sparkle.

I used the Glue Dots Premium Permanent Gluetape Adhesive Roller to add adhesive to the leaves, then layered them onto a white card base. This roller is refillable so a great choice for the craft room

To adhere the Fall Scene panel to the card, I used the Glue Dots Craft Dots Adhesive Roller. I added the panel at a slight angle, which adds interest to the card.

To finish, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Espresso jewels to the card. I love this colour of jewels for autumn.

  10. Gemma, your fall card is absolutely delightful! I love the scene of fall critters and you’ve captured the essence of the changing leaves so beautifully. I love the leaves tucked behind the frame and the use of the Glue Dots to hug everything in place! TFS!
