Today I’m sharing a card for the November WOW Facebook challenge. There is a new theme each month, and this month is CHRISTMAS / SPARKLES.
I began with a white card base. I stamped some of the smaller images from the Hello Bluebird North Pole Littles stamp set with WOW embossing ink around the edges of the card, then heat embossed them with WOW Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine embossing powder. I love the look of the gold embossed border, which is perfect for Christmas cards.
Next, I die cut a stitched rectangle and stamped in copic friendly ink some images and a sentiment from the North Pole Littles stamp set.
I coloured them in with copics, added some white and black gel pen details, then adhered the panel onto the card with liquid glue to finish.
This is a simple design which would be easy to recreate for a fun set of Christmas cards. Swap the gold embossing powder for a silver or rose gold to get a different look.
